There are lots of fixes and a few new additions. mod_rewrite is now dealt with automatically (pending permissions) when you switch it on in the control panel. This is one feature I’d really like you to test. It is not supposed to overwrite any part of the .htaccess file, just append.

Also, there are slightly new install directions. You now have to move config.sample.php to config.php before the program will run.

Again, email noel [at] noeljackson [dot] com with bug reports. The bug tracker and official bug email address are going up soon.

Hopefully this one won’t have any major issues and I can get it out as a full release. Thanks for your help everyone!

I’m in a rush, as I’m off to Australia in a few hours! But, I really wanted to post FC1 for everyone to download and test. It’s really quite a good release and I’m pretty darn sure all the issues people had are crushed. Remember to do a clean install and send ANY development related issues to noel [at] noeljackson [dot] com (sorry it isn’t a photostack address, but that’s on the way).
